Fluminense releases another 10,000 tickets for the classic against Vasco after negotiation

Fluminense announced on social networks that it will put on sale, from 6 pm, a new batch of tickets for the classic against Vasco, Sunday, at Maracanã. Entries will be for the West and East Superior sectors, where the crowd is mixed.

The release comes after the cross-Maltino was dissatisfied with the load of tickets initially put up for sale, of 50 thousand. Tickets for the mixed sectors sold out on Wednesday, as well as tickets for the Vasco fans sector. Maracanã has capacity for around 78,000 fans.

Vasco went to social media to say that the new batch of tickets available comes after negotiations with the tricolor board, the boss of the match.

JOGO EXTRA found that there was pressure from Ferj for Fluminense to release the extra charge of tickets. The tricolor will put on sale another 10 thousand tickets, only for the mixed sectors.

Vasco also requested that the exclusive sector of its supporters had new tickets available – it was sold with less than 4 thousand tickets in relation to its total capacity. But Fluminense did not respond to the Maltese cross’s request.

The difference in demand for tickets caused discomfort within Fluminense. There is a fear that the number of Basques will be much higher than the tricolors. Of a partial 30,000 tickets sold, around 25,000 would have been for Vasco da Gama. The fans of the Laranjeiras team, until Wednesday, had not sold out the tickets for the exclusive sector of the tricolors.

Fluminense and Vasco are going through a moment of high rivalry due to the dispute over the management of Maracanã – the tricolors are partners of Flamengo in the double candidacy, while Vasco will also compete in the bidding, alongside WTorre and the American company Legends.
