Former federal deputy Alexandre Frota filed a request with the Federal Police to find out if he had been monitored by the FirstMile spy software used by Abin (Brazilian Intelligence Agency) in the Jair Bolsonaro (PL) government.
This Thursday (25), the PF carried out search and seizure warrants in an investigation into the alleged political use of Abin against the former president’s political opponents.
In the document addressed to the general director of the PF, Andrei Rodrigues, Frota says that his parliamentary performance was guided by political opposition to the Executive and in “strong opposition to the figure of the former president, as well as his family members”.
He asks the corporation whether he was the target of “this horrendous and illegal espionage”, whether his cell phone numbers were “spied on” and whether his privacy was violated.
