The Minister of Justice and Public Security, Flávio Dino, announced this Tuesday (30) the inclusion of Amapá in the itinerary of trips he will take to the North of Brazil to launch PRONASCI II, the National Program for Public Security with Citizenship. The date should be confirmed in the next few days, but he is certain that he intends to hear contributions from society for the preparation of a nationwide plan.
He and his team should hold hearings to receive suggestions from civil society for the formulation of public security policies, which until then were restricted only to the protagonism of the states. “We want to integrate all of this, like what has already been done in health, with a single public security system, which now has the formulation of the federal government and also the participation of municipalities, through the municipal guards”, said Flávio dino.
The program
Executed by the Union, through the articulation of federal agencies, in cooperation with States, the Federal District and Municipalities and with the participation of families and the community, through programs, projects and actions of technical and financial assistance and social mobilization, aiming at the improvement of public safety.
PRONASCI is intended to articulate public security actions for the prevention, control and repression of crime, establishing social policies and actions to protect victims with the promotion of human rights, intensifying a culture of peace, support for disarmament and combat systematic response to gender, ethnic, racial, generational, sexual orientation and cultural diversity prejudices.
