Brasilia DF) – The Council of Ethics of the Chamber opened disciplinary proceedings this Tuesday (30), against seven deputies accused of breach of decorum, among them Eduardo Bolsonaro (PL-SP), Carla Zambelli (PL-SP) and Nikolas Ferreira (PL-MG). ). Since the beginning of the year, the President of the House, Arthur Lira (PP-AL), has been making appeals for parliamentarians not to lose composure in plenary.

Nikolas is accused of transphobia for the episode in which he wore a yellow wig on International Women’s Day, March 8, and presented himself on the tribune of the House as “deputy Nicole”. In an ironic tone, the parliamentarian said that she felt like a woman and, therefore, would have a place to speak on the date. Nikolas was the most voted deputy in the country in the last election, with almost 1.5 million votes. In the representation, PSOL, PSB, PCdoB, PDT and PT ask that he be punished with the impeachment of his mandate.

After speaking in plenary, the deputy received a public reprimand from Lira. “The plenary of the Chamber of Deputies is not a stage for exhibitionism, much less prejudiced speeches. I will not tolerate disrespect towards anyone. Deputy Nikolas Ferreira deserves my public reprimand for his attitude today,” wrote the mayor on Twitter.

The national president of the PL, Valdemar Costa Neto, in turn, defended the coreligionist.

Zambelli, in turn, is accused of having extrapolated parliamentary prerogatives by cursing deputy Duarte Júnior (PSB-MA) during a hearing of the Commission for Public Security and Combating Organized Crime that was attended by the Minister of Justice, Flávio Dino , on April 11.

One of Jair Bolsonaro’s sons, Eduardo must answer for alleged breach of decorum by cursing deputy Marcon (PT-RS), who had questioned the veracity of the stab wound suffered by the former president in the 2018 election campaign. Deputy Márcio Jerry (PCdoB -MA), in turn, is accused by the PL of having harassed deputy Júlia Zanatta (PL-SC) by coming up behind the parliamentarian and speaking in her ear during a hearing in the Chamber.

Deputy José Medeiros (PL-MT) is accused of intimidating PT president Gleisi Hoffmann (PR). The representation against deputy Juliana Cardoso (PT-SP) was made for alleged breach of parliamentary decorum during a session of the Chamber that approved the urgency for the project of the time frame for the demarcation of indigenous lands. Deputy Talíria Petrone (PSOL-RJ), in turn, is accused of having attacked and offended Deputy Ricardo Salles (PL-SP) during a meeting of the Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry (CPI) that investigates the invasions of the Rural Workers Movement Landless (MST).
