Five Brazilians fight this weekend at ONE, PFL and Glory events with Combate broadcast

Another weekend full of Brazilians in action in fight events for all tastes on the Combat screen. The gong will sound this Saturday, the 11th, for duels on the card for the 83rd edition of Glory, which features two belt disputes. In the main fight of the night, Lithuanian Sergej Maslobojev puts his light heavyweight belt on the line against Surinamese Donegi Abena. In the second most important duel on the card, Brazilian César Almeida will go in search of the Glory middleweight division title against Surinamese Donovan Wisse, packed with six consecutive victories. ‘Glory 83’, which takes place in the city of Essen, Germany, and also features Brazilian Joilton Lutterbach, will broadcast Combat, starting at 4 pm, with narration by Luiz Prota and comments by Luciano Andrade. sportv3 and the Combate profile on Youtube also show the first two fights of the event.

If on Saturday there is a belt dispute in kickboxing, on the eve, Combate will show two events with the presence of Brazilians. In the morning, the city of Bangkok, Thailand, receives the fourth edition of the series ‘ONE Friday Fights’, with duels of muay thai, kickboxing and MMA. The only Brazilian participation on the card will be in a duel in mixed martial arts, with Bruno Azevedo from Brasilia facing the undefeated Russian Talekh Gamidov in the bantamweight division. Rhoodes Lima is in charge of broadcasting the event on Combate, alongside commentator Ana Hissa, starting at 9:25 am. Later, still on Friday, direct from Orlando, in the United States, Combate shows the third week of disputes of the ‘PFL Challenger Series’, with duels involving eight heavyweight fighters in search of a contract with Professional Fighter League. Two Brazilians will be in action in the four fights on the card, which will be evaluated by the public and also by big names in the fight. This week, the guests are the Americans Frank Mir and Kurt Angle, as well as the Brazilian Vitor Belfort. In the main event of the night, Danilo Marques from São Paulo faces American Ras Hylton. In the second most important match, Goiano Vitor Rezende, undefeated so far, measures forces with the American Isaiah Pinson.
