Filipe Luís was announced as the new coach of the U17 team Flamengo. Born in Jaraguá do Sul, in Santa Catarina, Filipe Luís began his career at Figueirense and transferred to Ajax, in the Netherlands, after his first year as a professional in Brazil. In Europe, he also spent time at Real Madrid B, Deportivo La Coruña, Chelsea and Atlético de Madrid, a team of which he is an idol and has won important titles, such as the Spanish Championship, the European Super Cup (2) and the Europa League (2). .

Good performances for Atlético led Filipe Luís to the Brazilian team. He was called up for the first time by coach Dunga, in 2009, and was part of the squads that won the Confederations Cup (2013) and Copa América (2019). He was also present at the Copa América Centenário (2016) and the World Cup in Russia (2018).
In 2019, Filipe Luís returned to Brazil to end his career at Flamengo, his favorite team. In total, 11 titles were won over 176 matches and four goals were scored. He helped the Rio club win two Copa Libertadores trophies, two from the Brazilian Championship, one from the Copa do Brasil, one from the Recopa Sul-Americana, two from the Supercopa do Brasil and three State Championships.
