By technical knockout, Amapá MMA fighter John Macapá beat Belarusian Alexander Kovalev on Friday (22) at ACA 163 (Absolute Championship Akhmat), in Minsk, Belarus.
The Brazilian fighter won the third round of the fight, after applying a series of elbows to his opponent. This is the second victory of three fights held by the Amapá native, in the featherweight category.
On his social networks, the athlete thanks everyone who helped him at this moment in his life. “The only word that comes to mind is GRATITUDE! Gratitude for life, for health and for everyone who collaborated to make this happen. Thanks God! For all the things that have been happening to me,” he said.
John Macapá has already been part of the UFC and Bellator and now forms part of the ACA organization. Now, he has 37 fights in his record, with 27 wins, eight losses and two draws.
