Program finances undergraduate students at private institutions

The Ministry of Education has extended the registration deadline for the Fies selection process for the first half of the year to next Monday (18).

The program finances the graduation of students from private higher education institutions.

Those interested in participating must register before midnight next Monday, Brasília time, on the Single Portal for Access to Higher Education.

The extension was published on Friday (15), when the registration deadline for Fies was over.

The other dates of the selection process have not been changed. In other words, on March 21st, the results will be released, and the registration of pre-selected candidates will be completed from March 22nd to 26th.

1,260 private higher education institutions participate in this edition, offering, through the program, 67 thousand places for financing.

Half of them are reserved for Fies Social, which serves people with a family income of up to half the minimum wage registered in CadÚnico, the Single Registry for Social Programs of the Federal Government.

This group can finance up to 100% of the educational fees charged by the private higher education institution.
