Federal judge Jucélio Fleury Neto, from the 2nd Court of the Judiciary Section of Amapá, granted a request made by the municipality of Santana, in a 2014 process, and ordered financial institutions to make existing financial assets in the name of former mayor Antônio Nogueira unavailable, de Santana, up to the debt limit of R$480,470.10. The decision is made last Wednesday (17).
In the same case, the judge wrote that former mayor Nogueira, as a defendant, must also be notified that, if a statement is rejected or not presented, the unavailability will automatically be converted into a seizure, with the details of the blockage added to the case as a term being valid. of attachment, starting the period of 15 days to, if desired, challenge.
Without objection, the blocked amounts will be transferred to Caixa Econômica Federal, branch 2801, via Sisbajud, with Santana city hall being notified to state how it intends to receive such amounts.
If the determined amount is unsuccessful or insufficient, Santana City Hall will be notified to request what it deems appropriate within 30 days.
José Antônio Nogueira de Sousa was mayor of Santana for two terms. He was also a federal deputy for Amapá and president of the Workers’ Party in the state. He is a member of the state Judiciary and currently holds a commissioned position at Santana City Hall, where his sister, Maria Isabel Nogueira de Sousa (PT), is deputy mayor.
