Salto (SP) – Fast Clube began its journey in the 2024 edition of the São Paulo Junior Football Cup, the Copinha, with a draw. Tricolor de Aço was 0-0 with América-RN, in group 17 of the competition. The name of the game was Amazonian goalkeeper Neneca, who made great saves and held the draw for Rolo Compressor.

With the result, Fast and América-RN added one point. In the other match in the group, Sfera-SP beat Botafogo-SP 1-0 and took the lead after the 1st round. Tricolor de Aço’s next clash will be against Sfera-SP, on Sunday (7), at 12pm (Manaus time). Next, at 2:15 pm, Botafogo-SP and América-RN face off.

The game

At the beginning of the game, Mecão took the initiative and went up. At nine, Fernando took a long shot and Neneca held on tight. América-RN continued to test the Fastiano goalkeeper, four minutes later, with a shot from outside the area, the Amazonian archer looked for a shot in the corner and made a beautiful save. Fast got scared with a free kick from Periquito, who kicked hard and forced Felipe Carneiro to make a great save, in the 39th minute.
