Manaus (AM) — Faculdade Santa Teresa (FST) is accepting registrations for the “Legal Oratory: Techniques for Public Speaking” course. The activity aims to strengthen self-confidence, preparing participants to exercise efficient communication, gaining credibility and professional respect. The course is being offered through the college’s Legal Practices Center (NPJ).

The classes will be taught by the lawyer, professor and doctor in Legal Science, Maria Lenir Rodrigues Pinheiro. With face-to-face classes and multidisciplinary methodology, the course will feature audiovisual resources and practical exercises. Topics such as general public speaking will be covered; preparation techniques; posture and gesticulation; presentation and reading techniques.

According to the NPJ coordinator at Faculdade Santa Teresa, Mônica Picanço, participants will have the opportunity to improve their oratory, persuasion and argumentation skills, to be applied in both their personal and professional lives.

“The relevance of the theme is precisely for final year students who are already facing audiences, have the desire to correct and improve their own verbal and body expression, so that their speeches convey confidence, increasing the chances of success in the processes”,

argues.

In a free course format, the activity is recommended for students in the 7th to 10th period of Law. It starts on April 6th and runs until May 4th, always on Saturdays, from 8am to 12pm.

“Initiatives like this make up a set of complementary training strategies designed to prepare students for the work environment, which demands increasingly complex skills and competencies”,

highlights Joziane Mendes, coordinator of Free Courses at Grupo Fametro.

Students enrolled in the activity will also receive a certificate for 20 hours of internship issued by NPJ/FST and certification for 30 hours (20 hours of which are face-to-face and 10 hours of guided activities).

The activities will be carried out at the NPJ of Faculdade Santa Teresa, on Rua Rio Madeira, Nº 444, Vieiralves, Nossa Senhora das Graças neighborhood, Central-South Zone of Manaus.

Registration is open, with an investment of R$150 for the external public and R$120 for the institution’s students. With a limit of 40 places per class, registration is available online via the link: WhatsApp (92) 98286-3703.
