Exemption Enem 2023: the result of the requests is out – 05/08/2023 – Daily life

The Inep (National Institute of Educational Studies and Research), linked to the MEC (Ministry of Education), released at the end of the morning of this Monday (8) the result of requests for exemption from the registration fee for the Enem (National Teaching Examination). Medium) 2023.

The response to the request can be checked on the participant’s page. Those who had the request for exemption or justification of absence rejected have until next Friday (12) to appeal the decision.

The enrollment fee exemption for Enem 2023 is available to participants who are attending the last year of high school this year, in any type of education, at a public school. Enrollees who attended all of high school in a public school or on a full scholarship in the private network, who have a per capita income equal to or less than one and a half minimum wages, are also entitled to the benefit.

Enem registration period will be from June 5th to 16th. The tests will be applied on November 5th and 12th.

Approval of the request for exemption or justification for absence in the 2022 edition does not guarantee enrollment in the exam. Those interested in taking Enem 2023, exempt or not, must register on the participant’s page, within the indicated period.

The Enem evaluates the school performance of students at the end of basic education. Over more than two decades of existence, it has become one of the main gateways to higher education in Brazil, through Sisu (Unified Selection System) and initiatives such as Prouni (University for All Program).

Enem individual results can also be used in the selection processes of Portuguese institutions that have an agreement with Inep to accept exam scores. The agreements guarantee easy access to the grades of Brazilian students interested in studying higher education in Portugal.
