Rubia Joice de Oliver Luvisetto, 19, ex-girlfriend of the football player killed and dismembered in Mato Grosso do Sul, arrested on Monday (3), said that the victim was killed after having invaded her house at dawn and taken shot by a man accompanying her, according to the Civil Police of Sete Quedas (468 km from Campo Grande). Body parts of Hugo Vinícius Skulny Pedrosa, 19, were found in a river.

According to the lawyer Felipe Cazuo, who represents the young woman, she said that the player was shot dead after an invasion of her room in the early hours of June 25th.

Still according to the defender, the young woman stated that she has no direct involvement with the crime and that, after the homicide, she was threatened by Danilo Alves Vieira da Silva, 19, to keep her quiet. Police did not say whether Silva is considered a fugitive.

The athlete had disappeared at dawn on the 25th. Parts of the body were found the following Sunday, July 2nd, in the Iguatemi River. Preliminary recognition was possible because of a tattoo on the right forearm.

According to the incident report, Rubia said she went to a party in Pindoty Porá, a Paraguayan city in the border region, and was at the same table as Silva. According to her, the two dated from 2019 to 2020, but later became friends and had sporadic sexual intercourse.

At the same party was the football player, with whom she dated this year and with whom she had broken up. She said she did not speak to the victim at the scene.

On leaving the party, according to her report to the police, she went to her own house with Silva and another man, who was identified in the bulletin as Maninho. She is said to have woken up with the player in the house, turning on the light and saying that she was a slut for being with Silva.

She then said that she pushed the player to the door of the house to leave. According to her report, she was surprised by the arrival of Silva behind her back, armed, who fired a shot at Pedrosa.

The fight and the shots woke up Maninho, who went into the living room. In a statement to the police, Maninho said he was threatened by Silva to remove the player from the scene.

Using her car, the two put the body in the back and went to a place near the side road.

There, according to Maninho reported to the Civil Police, Silva removed the player’s body by himself and pushed him into the Iguatemi river. Afterwards, Silva took a hose and washed the car bed before returning to Luvisetto’s house.

The incident report does not provide details about the dismemberment and the police also did not clarify the moment in which it would have occurred. In Maninho’s testimony, it appears that he was surprised to learn about the dismemberment, as he stated that, when they left the site, the body had just been pushed into the water.

Rubia said she washed the entrance to the house and awaited the arrival of the two. Afterwards, she said she was forced to take Silva home, leaving her friend on the sofa in the living room.

The following day, she said she had received a visit from Silva and again been threatened. In the days that followed, they learned about the investigation into Pedrosa’s disappearance. The student had already given a statement to the police, saying that she did not know anything. According to her version, on the 29th, she told her mother that she wanted to tell the truth.

Sought by the report, Andressa Skulny, the victim’s cousin, declined to comment on the girl’s version and said that the family is awaiting an official statement from the Civil Police about the investigations.

Delegate Lucelia Constantino asked for Rubia’s arrest to be converted into preventive detention, on the grounds that the threat version does not hold, since she had several opportunities to try to ask for help.

Lawyer Felipe Cazuo is waiting for the custody hearing to find out if the act will be converted into preventive detention. If that happens, he will file a request for release.
