The secretariat has approximately 7,600 students already enrolled in 2023
Manaus (AM) – Enrollments for Youth and Adult Education (EJA) were extended until February 28, with direct attendance at schools in the municipal education network. Although classes started on the 6th of this month, the City of Manaus, through the Municipal Education Department (Semed), decided to extend the deadline since there are still places available for students who wish to complete elementary school.
Currently, the secretariat has 65 teaching units in all areas of the city, which serve the EJA modality, with approximately 7,600 students already enrolled in 2023.
According to the EJA manager, Alina Bindá, anyone interested in completing their studies needs to look for one of the schools that work with the modality in all areas of the city.
“We have 65 teaching units, where the person can go, in person, to enroll. It doesn’t matter why you stopped studying, but completing your studies is essential to have a better qualification in the market or get a job. Therefore, we are expanding the offer of teaching in this modality in all areas of the city, precisely to serve this public”, he added.
For further information on the extension of enrollment in this modality, the interested party can access the website matriculas.am.gov.br. In addition, managers, teachers, pedagogues and employees of the seven Zonal District Divisions (DDZ) reinforce the dissemination in areas close to the schools where the EJA modality is offered.
