Engineering students from universities in Paraná will go into the field in April together with auditors from the TCE (State Audit Court) to inspect unfinished public works in the state’s municipalities.
The university extension activity currently involves 60 students and is the result of an agreement between the TCE and the seven state institutions. Crea (Regional Engineering and Agronomy Council) also participates in the initiative.
Of the 1,050 works registered with the TCE, it is estimated that at least 20% are abandoned in the 399 municipalities in Paraná.
