Enem 2023: Re-application of the test will have 93,620 participants – 12/11/2023 – Education

The re-application of the Enem 2023 tests will be carried out on Tuesday (12) and Wednesday (13) for candidates who were affected by the exam being scheduled more than 30 km from their residence on the original dates, those who requested rescheduling due to medical or logistics and those deprived of liberty.

According to Inep (National Institute of Educational Studies and Research), which organizes the exam, there are 93,620 registered in these situations, 84,169 of which are Enem PPL students (adults deprived of liberty and young people under socio-educational measures that include deprivation of liberty) and 9,451 reapplications.

The entity did not disclose the reasons for the reapplication requests. It is known, however, that 50 thousand students had been allocated places far from their homes and would have the opportunity to take the tests now. As only 9,451 requested reapplication, including those who may have infectious diseases or logistical problems, it is not possible to know whether the remainder had already taken the exam on the original dates or whether they withdrew from the process.

Regarding the Enem PPL, the exam has been administered since 2010 by Inep in partnership with the Ministry of Justice and Public Security, through Depen (National Penitentiary Department).

The tests have the same level of difficulty as the regular Enem. The only difference is the application, which takes place within prison and socio-educational units indicated by the respective prison and socio-educational administration bodies, in each unit of the federation. Only those who sign the Term of Adhesion, Responsibility and Commitment, through an online system, can participate.

Just like in the traditional test, on the first day the Writing test and 45 questions on Languages, Codes and their Technologies will be applied (Portuguese Language, Literature, Foreign Language —English or Spanish—, Arts, Physical Education and Information and Communication Technologies) , in addition to 45 other questions from Human Sciences and their Technologies (History, Geography, Philosophy and Sociology).

On the second day there will be 45 questions on Natural Sciences and its Technologies (Chemistry, Physics and Biology) and 45 questions on Mathematics and its Technologies.

The application will be from 1:30 pm to 7:00 pm this Tuesday and from 1:30 pm to 6:30 pm on Wednesday.

The official test answer sheet will be published on December 27th in the Tests and Answer Keys section of the Inep portal, and the final result will be published on January 16th, 2024, on the participant’s page.
