Endrick joins in with his teammates and starts boxing lessons

Palm trees | Striker Endrick is the most recent member of the Palmeiras squad to adopt boxing as a sport. Following the trend of several club mates, the 16-year-old is now also a student of Professor Jackson Páuda, Jacq, who already has Gustavo Gómez, Murilo, Gabriel Menino, Luan, Mayke, Piquerez and Zé Rafael in his class.

In images published on his social networks, the attacker appears in action in a class for beginners. Gloves and shirtless, he appears throwing some blows and also having notions of dodging to defend himself against his opponent.

The invitation to join the team of boxers came from side Piquerez and also from defensive midfielder Zé Rafael. Like his teammates, Endrick will now include the modality in his routine as a complementary activity to the physical work done at Palmeiras throughout the week.

The taste for the noble art made the board move towards facilitating the practice of the modality for its athletes. The club left some equipment available so that players can train boxing during break times.

But if boxing has been gaining space as a complementary activity, Palmeiras continues to work hard with a view to reaching the Paulista quarterfinals. On Saturday, the team faces São Bernardo at Allianz in search of a place in the Paulista semifinals. The coach will take advantage of the week to adjust the team.

Despite the good campaign and favoritism against the ABC team, the player Murilo projects a complicated duel next Saturday. “São Bernardo is a team that is structuring itself very well. We count on the support of our fans to be able to impose our rhythm in order to qualify”, said the defender.
