Employment: fair aimed at blacks opens registration – 06/19/2023 – Panel SA

The consulting firm McKinsey & Company opened registration for the sixth edition of the Together Conference, a job fair that seeks to promote the inclusion of black professionals in the corporate market.

The objective is to offer opportunities for university students who declare themselves black or brown and will graduate within two years and professionals with up to six years of graduation.

This year’s edition is scheduled for August 12, in person, in São Paulo. There will be virtual transmission, allowing the participation of interested parties from all over the country.

Participants will be able to listen to lectures by renowned black professionals, participate in workshops and talk to partner companies, engaged with the racial agenda, about career opportunities during the job fair.

Data from the latest Diversity Matters report, prepared by McKinsey, show that, in Brazil, half of self-declared black people in less favorable socioeconomic conditions consider that they have the same opportunity to develop in the work environment.

Held annually since 2018, the Together Conference has already had more than 10,000 subscribers from all states in Brazil. To register, visit the Conference Together website.
