The quilombola community Ressaca da Pedreira gains a new voting location. The Nelson Barbosa da Silva State Quilombola School is located in the community, served by the 10th Electoral Zone, in Macapá. The building meets structural requirements, having accessible rooms, a satisfactory number of sockets, bathrooms, kitchen and permanent electricity. Located on a paved road on Highway AP-70, it is easily accessible to the community.
Ressaca da Pedreira, which is located about 30 kilometers from Macapá, did not have a voting location. To vote, voters needed to travel to the nearest community, Abacate da Pedreira. The estimate is that at least 200 voters will vote at the school.
Traveling action
With the purpose of publicizing the new voting location and providing electoral assistance to the Ressaca da Pedreira quilombola community, the 10th Electoral Zone promotes Itinerant Action at the Nelson Barbosa da Silva State Quilombola School.
The action will take place from 9am to 4pm, on November 20th, National Zombie Day and Black Awareness Day. Electoral services such as voter registration, biometric collection, review and regularization of titles will be available.
To access the services, interested parties must carry an identification document with a photo, proof of original and recent residence, certificate of discharge from military service for men over 18 years of age.
