Education in Amapá gains 545 new appointed employees – News of Brazil

Education in Amapá begins 2024 with the reinforcement of over 545 professionals, including teachers, pedagogues, caregivers and interpreters. This Friday, the 12th, governor Clécio Luís appointed the new public servants in a ceremony marked by the emotion of achievement, gratitude and the welcome of the public education network.
Right at the entrance to the Maison Nuance event house, those approved were welcomed like stars of the night. Students from state schools created a “human corridor”, with encouraging signs and expressing the expectation of the arrival of professionals. In addition to the welcome, the ceremony also featured cultural presentations, including the trilingual choir and the marching band from Escola Almirante Barroso, which was emotional when playing the national anthem.
The appointment represents the new management’s commitment to Education. Governor Clécio Luís joined the employees for the oath, and took advantage of the occasion to reinforce the importance of public spirit.
“This is the completion of a process that sometimes people spend years preparing for. And today they are being appointed to go to the classrooms of state public schools in Amapá, this school year. You can see the happiness on everyone’s faces, and ours too in welcoming them”, highlighted the governor.
The inauguration of the servers is scheduled for January 22nd to 25th, when they will get to know their new work environments. Until then, the Secretary of State for Education, Sandra Casimiro, took the opportunity to invite them to the department’s next events, as a strategy to familiarize the nominees with the routine and actions of the public network.
“It will be a great honor to work with all of you very soon. I am also a public servant in Education, both for the state and for the Municipality of Macapá. We work for each other, for the student, and we must always remember the importance of shaping the future”, said Sandra.
The Secretary of State for Administration, Paulo Lemos, highlighted that the Government of Amapá continues to advance in seven other competitions, such as the Military Police and Fire Department.
“I am also a permanent teacher at the state school, and I understand the importance of the public exam very strongly. We work every day to give people like you the opportunity to make their dreams come true”, highlighted the manager.
New servers
The ceremony was a dream come true for all the professionals and families present. According to caregiver Luiza Pingarilho, one of the nominees, the occasion represents the conclusion of a journey of studies and sacrifices.
“I highlight the merit of my colleagues, who with a lot of effort and dedication achieved the honor of being here. I am proud to be part of the first official selection process for caregivers in our state. We are all very happy to have our request granted by the State Government”, commented the professional.
The solemn act was also attended by federal deputy, Goreth Silva; the state deputies, Jory Oeiras and Diogo Sênior; the councilor of Macapá, Claudiomar Rosa; the prosecutor, Iaci Pelaes, and Josiel Alcolumbre representing senator Davi Alcolumbre, in addition to professor Emanuel Batista, the patron of Education in 2024.
Education Competition
The competition took place in 2022 and offered 1,182 positions for immediate recruitment and 3,820 vacancies for reserve registration. It was approved in July 2023 and, after the efforts of the State Secretariats for Administration (Sead) and Education (Seed), these first candidates are available to society.
Among the 545 professionals appointed, there are 393 teachers, including Specialized Educational Assistance, 84 pedagogues, 61 caregivers and seven interpreters of the Brazilian Sign Language (Libras).
In addition to the nominated civil servants, another 600 professionals advance in the documentary stage of the competition. The forecast is that a thousand approved professionals will be called by July 2025, depending on placement in the competition and demand in the state education network.
