The mayor of Rio de Janeiro, Eduardo Paes (PSD), will meet on Monday (6) President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) and Governor Cláudio Castro (PL) on the same platform. The two confirmed their presence at the inauguration of ophthalmology units in the municipality.
Castro has already had meetings with the PT and has been gradually moving away from Bolsonarism, which marked his first administration. He supported former president Jair Bolsonaro (PL) in last year’s election, but avoided attacks on the petista in the campaign.
