Eduardo Bolsonaro says that a doctrinaire professor is worse than a drug dealer

Federal deputy Eduardo Bolsonaro (PL) said during a speech at a demonstration of the pro-gun movement, this Sunday (9), that “indoctrinating teachers” are worse than drug dealers, as they cause discord and destruction in families.

“If we have a generation of parents who pay attention to raising their children, take the time to see what they learn in schools, there will be no room for a doctrinaire teacher to want to kidnap our children. There is no difference between an indoctrinating teacher and a drug dealer who tries to kidnap and take our children into the world of crime, ”she said.

“Perhaps even the doctrinaire professor is even worse, because he will cause discord within your home, seeing oppression in all kinds of relationships. He will say that the father oppresses the mother, the mother oppresses the child and that the institution called the family has to be destroyed, ”he continued.

At the IV Pro-Weapons for Freedom Meeting, the deputy also emphasized the right to self-defense and questioned the arrests made in the acts of January 8. In the speech, the deputy highlighted the situation in Venezuela after the disarmament promoted by the Chavista government.

“We know the story. In 2012 and 2013 they disarmed there [na Venezuela]. In 2016, Caracas [capital da Venezuela] became the capital of the world with the highest number of homicides, proportionally. […] Brazil will once again move in this direction. Unfortunately, a lot of innocent lives are going to happen, because the guys here at the Ministry of Justice don’t want to give all of us access to self-defense”, said the deputy when referring to the decrees signed on January 1 by President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva ( PT), with the Minister of Justice Flávio Dino, who changed the rules on weapons and ammunition in the country.

The deputy also recalled the decrees issued by former president Jair Bolsonaro (PL) that “really gave the right to self-defence”, but which had several parts suspended by the Federal Supreme Court (STF) during Bolsonaro’s government and ended up being revoked or altered in the early days of the Lula government.

At the demonstration, Eduardo Bolsonaro mentioned the acts of January 8 and questioned the arrests made, classifying them as cowardice.

“You are seeing all the cowardice they do. Not only with my father, with these compensation processes. People who were arrested [em 8 de janeiro]… Has anyone seen here 1500 people being arrested in a single day in an operation to combat drug trafficking? And if it did, who do you think would go directly, not even to the jail door, but to the police station to follow up on the act? Luiz Eduardo Greenhalgh, father of the disarmament statute in 2003”, said the deputy.

Deputy Eduardo Bolsonaro also said he was there to bring a message of hope. “The demonstrations are returning. People want to take to the streets, but they are also afraid, that’s for sure. Because that’s what an objective dictatorship is. Punishing others in the most arbitrary way possible, precisely to discourage those who want to do right, who want to fight for democracy,” he said.
