The audiovisual shows behind the scenes of the drag queen’s performance at the integrated arts festival

The documentary ‘Phenomenon of Resistance (SOU MANAUS 2023)’ produced by Amazonian artist Aurora Boreal will be released next Saturday (21) at 8pm on the Aurora Boreal channel, on YouTube.

‘Phenomenon of Resistance’ tells the story of the first drag queen from Amazonas to be an attraction at the largest integrated arts festival in the North, Sou Manaus Passo a Paço, and shows the entire production process of the artist’s show, since her confirmation at the event , by ManausCult, until its completion.

The show, signed by the production company Cacau Produções, with musical direction by Ana Paula Mady, featured several special appearances and representatives, such as singer Márcia Siqueira, drag queen Ohana Jenner, dj and violinist Ka Seixas and members of the band Mady & Seu Valentine, with a repertoire full of original songs.

Testimonials from the team, family and Pedro Paulo (Northern Lights), exclusive recordings of behind the scenes and rehearsals, will be part of the audiovisual product and promises to move, inspire and be an empowerment tool for independent artists, especially the LGBTQIAPN+ population.

The documentary is produced independently by Pedro Paulo and was supported by recording images from Gabriel Gawa, a renowned videographer from the city, who has already had a partnership with Aurora Boreal for over a year, working on advertising for major brands. Tua Mídia coordinates the documentary’s press office.
