Several companies and educational institutions in Quebec seek Brazilian candidates with knowledge of the French language

Work or study in Canada

The Quebec government, through the economic development agency Québec International, is open for applications for Jounées Québec BRÉSIL, an initiative that seeks to recruit Brazilian men and women to work in Canada. This year, 18 Quebec companies will offer more than 200 vacancies in the food, engineering, industrial, manufacturing, health, social services and information technology sectors.

The level of French requested depends on each vacancy. There are some companies that require an intermediate or advanced level, while others are open to hiring candidates with a beginner level. To know the requirements, you must carefully read all the details in the job descriptions.

The 2024 edition will also enable Brazilian students interested in pursuing technical and higher-level training in Quebec to find educational institutions in the region, clarify their doubts and learn the process for requesting a study permit.

How to participate

To register, you must create a free account on the Quebec na head website, fill out your profile and apply for the vacancies or study programs you are interested in using the link, between March 5th and April 8th. The profile must be completed in French, as this is the official language of Quebec. Selected candidates will receive notices by email the week of April 16th. The final stage will include a face-to-face interview with recruiters, in São Paulo, between May 4th and 5th.

It is important that interested parties pay attention to the requirements, including the need for a technical or university degree in the area of ​​the desired vacancy, professional experience in the sector and a level of French proportional to the opportunity in question. Since 2011, more than 600 Brazilians have been hired by Quebec companies.
