From breakfast cheese bread to happy hour drinks, some restaurants in the capital of São Paulo offer an extensive menu with meals for any time of the day. These are called all-day menus.

These addresses have an expanded service, where you can find a late coffee or order a cocktail before dinner, for example.

In recent years, São Paulo has gained more houses of this type. Among them are Levena, in Pinheiros, A Casa de Antônia, in Bela Vista, and Locale Caffè, in Itaim Bibi, which combine a restaurant, café and bar in the same location.

AE! Cafe & Kitchen
Chefs Ygor Lopes and Walkyria Fagundes have reformulated their signature restaurant and included a brunch menu, available throughout the day. An executive menu (from R$89) is served for lunch on weekdays and, on Saturdays and Sundays, there are à la carte dishes. Stars of the house, Fagundes’ desserts are now displayed in a showcase.

Snail
Here, all recipes are vegetarian or vegan, from breakfast to dinner. Chefs Patrícia Helu and Thainá Andrade serve dishes such as carbonara, made with spaghetti, white miso sauce, smoked tofu and chestnut parmesan (R$ 68). To sweeten things up, the highlight is the pecan pie with caramel, for R$38. What’s new is the brunch served on weekends. There are four combo options, costing from R$42.80 to R$188, in addition to à la carte items. Classic and signature drinks complete the menu.

Carmella
At the beginning of the year, the house went from being just a sweet shop to a café and bar. Cakes, pies and sweets continue to be the flagships, now complemented by options for sandwiches, toasts, soups, starters and hot dishes. From the alcohol menu, the highlight are the drinks prepared with sparkling wine.

Antonia’s House
After gaining units in Rio de Janeiro and Curitiba, chef Andrea Vieira’s restaurant landed in Conjunto Nacional at the end of last year. There, meals are served from morning to night. There are sandwiches, salads, varied dishes, cakes, sweets, cocktails and wines. The highlight is the pies, with flavors such as shrimp bobó, cod, heart of palm and fig with raw ham (from R$40 to R$56).

Casarìa
It combines a restaurant, bakery and pastry shop, open from 7am to midnight. In terms of main dishes, the highlight is pasta such as green ravioli stuffed with white cheese, truffled parsley and fonduta (R$ 67). In the sweets section, grandma’s hug (R$ 30) is a cinnamon roll with hot curd cheese. There is also a drinks menu.

Les Deux Magots
The recently opened branch of the traditional Paris café welcomes customers from 8:30 am to 11:30 pm. Breakfast is popular and varied dishes are served for lunch and dinner. French sweets are another attraction. Most of the recipes are the same as in the matrix. The bar offers drinks with Brazilian touches, such as caipirinhas.

Levena
Elected pastry chef of the year by the special Sheet The Best of São Paulo, Diego Lozano offers at his house, which opens from 8am to 11pm, a selection of sweets and breads. Desserts such as Belém, with coconut crunch, cupuaçu jelly and cumaru mousse (R$ 27), shine. But not only. The extensive menu lists options for lunch and dinner. Wines and drinks accompany the food.

Locale Caffe
The address is a mix of an Italian-inspired cocktail bar and café in Itaim Bibi, open until midnight. In the morning section there are items such as Benedictine eggs (R$44) and canolli in seven fillings (R$15 to R$19 each). Brunch costs R$129. From 6pm, pizzas are served. The drinks, which can be ordered from the morning onwards, are created by bartender Marcio Silva.

Nica Café
In a mansion surrounded by plants, the restaurant and café has a Brazilian menu, with sandwiches, salads, omelettes and meats. A display case displays sourdough breads and pastries. Some of the ingredients come from Recife and make up recipes such as couscous with fresh coconut milk (R$33) and roll cake (R$35). To drink, beers, wines and classic drinks.

urban Kitchen
The restaurant operates all day long offering recipes with a healthy approach. Among them, the pad thai includes rice noodles and items such as eggs, broccoli, mushrooms, peppers and shrimp (R$92). Most desserts are prepared without sugar. To drink, there are coffees with special beans, organic wines and signature drinks.
