The Public Security Commission of the Chamber of Deputies hears this Tuesday (11), starting at 2:30 pm, the Minister of Justice and Public Security, Flávio Dino.

He returns to the collegiate to clarify changes to the federal government’s gun control policy; explain the actions taken by his ministry and the government after the attacks that took place on January 8.

The minister should also explain the visit he made to Complexo da Maré, on the last 13th, and the manifestations of social and racial discrimination and the criminalization of poverty related to the episode; in addition to talking about land invasions that have occurred in recent months.

At the end of last month, the minister participated in a hearing at the Constitution and Justice Commission (CCJ) where he denied that he had been previously informed by the Brazilian Intelligence Agency (Abin) of the attacks on the headquarters of the three Powers, on January 8.
