Deputy wants to break secrecy of former sector chief of PM of the DF in CPI of anti-democratic acts – 02/21/2023 – Panel

District deputy Fábio Felix (PSOL-DF) will file this Wednesday (22) with the Legislative Chamber of the Federal District requests to break the tax, banking, telephone and telematic secrecy of Colonel Jorge Eduardo Naime Barreto, then head of the Operational Department of Federal Police.
The parliamentarian also intends to submit a request for the breach of telephone and telematic secrecy of the former general commander of the PM-DF Fabio Augusto Vieira.
The two requests will be made within the scope of the CPI (Parliamentary Commission of Inquiry) of anti-democratic acts, installed in the Legislative Chamber of the Federal District to investigate the acts of vandalism registered on December 12, 2022 and also the coup acts of January 8.
On the 2nd, the CPI will hear the ex-executive secretary and deputy secretary of the Secretariat of Public Security of the Federal District, Fernando de Souza Oliveira. On the 9th, the hearing of former Secretary of Public Security Anderson Torres, former Minister of Justice in the government of Jair Bolsonaro, is scheduled. According to Torres’ defense, however, there was still no subpoena.
