Manaus (AM) – The Secretary General of the Legislative Assembly of the State of Amazonas (Aleam), state deputy João Luiz (Republicans) highlighted that public policies aimed at sport, education, health, primary sector, culture, social assistance, security, international public policies, aimed at to children and adolescents, and among other areas will continue to be worked on this year, in conjunction with the Government of Amazonas by the Legislative Branch.

“We will maintain the proposal in sports with the Sports and Leisure Project in the Capital and Interior (Pelci), with education in the implementation of more computer laboratories, we created the International Relations Center of the Legislative Assembly, where we have Dr. Thomas Law, which represents China in Brazil to boost education, generate employment and income, in addition to preparing our young people for the job market”,

said deputy João Luiz, during the opening ceremony of work in the Legislative Branch of Amazonas and the annual message from governor Wilson Lima, which took place this Thursday (1st).

The parliamentarian also stated that he will continue working on behalf of children and young people, through Aleam’s Commission for International Relations, Promotion of Sports and Defense of the Rights of Children and Adolescents, in addition to preparing public policies to prevent cases of depression, anxiety and among other things. other evils, through the Parliamentary Front for Care and Prevention of Depression, Suicide and Drugs (Fenapred) and the Commission for Prevention of Depression and Drugs of the National Union of Legislators and State Legislatures (Unale).

Message

Governor Wilson Lima reported on the work carried out in Amazonas, investments, difficulties and challenges faced over the past year, in addition to thanking state deputies for the progress in the state.

“I come to fulfill the constitutional rite of accountability, I do this with great respect and deference that I have for this House and the people of Amazonas. The year 2023 was marked by many challenges, which tested our planning and responses to the difficulties imposed. I also want to highlight that there has never been such a peaceful period between the powers that we are living in right now. All of this is important, as it leads to progress, may God continue to bless us and give us wisdom”,

stressed the governor of Amazonas.

The president of Aleam, deputy Roberto Cidade, reaffirmed the commitment of the Legislative Branch and mutual collaboration to improve the lives of the population of Amazonas and consequently the growth of the state.

“It is with great honor and great joy that today we begin the work of the legislative year. We reaffirm our commitment to transparency and democracy and that all of us, the 24 state deputies, are here to represent the people of Amazonas, placing our work as our main focus”,
