Deputy Dr. George Lins strengthens commitment to the health of Alto Solimões

Deputy fulfilled agenda in the municipalities of Tabatinga, Benjamin Constant and Atalaia do Norte, last week

On an agenda in the Alto Solimões channel, last week, state deputy Dr. George Lins (UB) was in the cities of Tabatinga, Benjamin Constant and Atalaia do Norte, where he monitored the delivery of works and made announcements to strengthen the health of the municipalities .

In Tabatinga, alongside federal deputy Átila Lins and mayor Saul Bemerguy, Dr. George reiterated his commitment to the population, announcing that, next year, he will allocate amendments to boost the health sector in the municipality. On that occasion, the bidding notice for the construction of the multi-sports gym was also launched, an initiative estimated at R$4.5 million, made possible by a parliamentary amendment by Átila Lins. The announcement took place last Friday (10).

“We experienced an intense schedule, traveling through three municipalities in Alto Solimões. On that occasion, I reaffirmed my commitment to contributing to strengthening health in these beloved cities. As a doctor and congressman, I advocate for broad access to healthcare across our state. This is the direction that guides my mandate: based on dialogue, commitment and work to help the people of Amazonas”, highlighted deputy Dr. George Lins.

Continuing his agenda in the region, in Atalaia do Norte, the deputy participated, on Saturday (11), in the inauguration of the Basic Health Unit (UBS) Enfermeiro Etaddeus Roberto Félix. During the event, Dr. George announced his commitment to contributing to the city’s health through surgical day actions in various specialties.

The inauguration ceremony of the new health unit, dedicated to the residents of the Santa Luzia neighborhood, was attended by federal deputy Átila Lins, mayor Denis Paiva, first lady Cleide Ana Brotas Paiva, Semsa secretary James Guedes, in addition to local authorities and family members of nurse Etaddeus.

On the same day, in the municipality of Benjamin Constant, Dr. George inaugurated, alongside mayor David Bemerguy and federal deputy Átila Lins, the Raimundo Dimas Cultural and Gastronomic Center. The space offers a variety of facilities, including a food court, walking track, water feature, outdoor gym and stage for shows.

As a defender of municipalist causes, the deputy also announced that he will contribute to the health of the municipality of Benjamin Constant through surgical day actions in various specialties, through amendments that will be presented from 2024.
