Deputy Acácio Favacho presents diversified projects – News of Brazil

In 2023, deputy Acácio Favacho received several suggestions for bills, among them the one that led to the implementation of the Psychological Assistance Center as an alternative in resolving emotional conflicts within the country’s public schools with prevention mechanisms for the mental health of students who manifest characteristics of psychosomatic and psychopathological illness.

According to the project, private institutions will have to promote prevention policies aimed at mental health in the school environment through actions to encourage treatment and specialized monitoring of psychosomatic and psychopathological illnesses.

Acácio presented a bill that includes riverside populations in the Minha Casa, Minha Vida Program, especially those located in the Legal Amazon. In addition, he also plans to implement the proper use of stilt houses in riverside communities.

Still on the housing theme, Acácio presented two more bills: 4189/23 which facilitates access for family farmers to credit lines offered by the Northern Constitutional Financing Fund (FNO); and 4679/23, which exempts low-income families from charging electricity fees in common areas of housing complexes, such as: entrance hall, stairs, corridors, etc. The objective of the project is to alleviate financial expenses and make social programs more sustainable.

To defend and encourage the strengthening of regional culture, the deputy filed Bill 2020/23, which obliges the Legislative, Executive and Judiciary to purchase at least 20% of space, including in regional vehicles and also allows community or educational radio stations and that educational TVs can receive state advertisements.

According to the deputy, the regional media needs to guarantee its advertising space also for large official advertisements.

Environment, was also the subject of Bill 4067/23, which deals with the mandatory installation of electric vehicle charging equipment at gas stations, especially on highways. The deputy defends the modernization of the transport matrix and sustainable mobility.

For Acácio Favacho, 2023 was a year of a lot of commitment, results, work and gratitude, always seeking the best for the people of Amapá and all of Brazil. Regarding 2024, the deputy has high expectations for his mandate. “Wait, there’s much more, 2024 is ours!”he states.
