Delgatti tells the PF that he won BRL 40,000 from Zambelli to invade any Judiciary system

Walter Delgatti’s defense stated this Wednesday afternoon (16) that the hacker presented to the Federal Police evidence that he would have received R$40,000 from Deputy Carla Zambelli (PL-SP) to invade “any system of the Judiciary”. Delgatti testified in Brasília for about four hours.
The hacker’s lawyer Ariovaldo Moreira, who accompanied the hearing, spoke to journalists as he left the PF. According to the defender, the payment would have been divided between deposits and cash.
“He proves that he received amounts from Carla Zambelli. According to Walter, the amount comes close to R$ 40,000. It was close to R$ 14,000 in bank deposits and the rest in cash. [Para] invade any system of the Judiciary”, said the lawyer.
Zambelli denies wrongdoing and said he only hired the hacker to maintain his site. The defense stated that this Wednesday’s testimony was a “complement” to the information already provided by Delgatti last month. The hacker was arrested in July during Operation 3FA. The deputy was also the target of a search and seizure during the PF operation.
The lawyer pointed out that Delgatti mentioned during the hearing that more people would be involved in the case. “Other people involved or who collaborated with Walter in the invasion were cited”, said Moreira. The lawyer, however, did not say who the others involved would be.
The defender also denied that the hacker is closing a plea agreement with the PF. Asked whether the complaint would be closed with another body, the lawyer said he could not respond.
Hacker asks to remain silent at the CPMI on January 8
In addition to testifying about the invasion of the National Council of Justice (CNJ) system, Delgatti should be heard by parliamentarians at the CPMI on January 8 this Thursday (17). Earlier, the defense called the Federal Supreme Court (STF) so that Delgatti could remain silent at the CPMI.
The lawyer filed a preventive habeas corpus requesting that the hacker be guaranteed the right to “absolute silence”. In addition, the defense asks that Delgatti be able to leave the commission without suffering constraints or threats.
