The deadline for the second call for proof of documentation of those classified for the second semester of the University for All Program (Prouni) 2023 will end next Thursday (3). At this stage, candidates for full and partial scholarships to study undergraduate courses at private institutions of higher education must prove the information provided during registration.
Documentation can be delivered electronically at the Single Access Portal of the Ministry of Education (MEC), or at the higher education institution itself.
Pre-approved candidates must submit documentation related to high school training, proof of disability and proof of training for teaching basic education, according to each case provided for in this year’s public notice.
It is also necessary to present documents that prove family income of up to 1.5 minimum wages, currently at R$ 1,980 – per person – for those applying for full scholarships. For partial grants, the monthly income to be proven is up to three minimum wages, per person, currently worth R$ 3,960.

The second call is a new chance for students classified according to course and institution options and the grades obtained in the National High School Examination (Enem) to meet the requirements set out in Prouni.
Those who miss the deadline lose the right to the scholarship that will be allocated to candidates classified on the waiting list. The announcement of the waiting list and the start of deadlines for this group should take place on August 18th.
For the second half of 2023, MEC made available 276,566 scholarships, of which 215,530 were full and 61,036 were partial, at 50% of the monthly fee, for undergraduate courses or sequential specific training courses.
