David Almeida meets with representatives of TJAM and MPAM and defends transparency

At the meeting, David Almeida highlighted the management’s commitment to the transparency of municipal actions

Manaus (AM) – Mayor David Almeida (Avante) met, this Monday morning (30), with representatives of the Public Ministry of Amazonas (MP-AM) and the Court of Justice of Amazonas (TJAM). The Chief of Staff Rafael Bertazzo and the Municipal Attorney General (PMG) Ivson Coêlho also attended the meeting.

“We started this week by visiting these two important institutions in our State to present a balance of what has already been accomplished and what we are planning for our municipal management. We have the science that it is essential to preserve transparency in public administration, and meetings like this only underscore our commitment to transforming the reality of our city and the lives of our population”, emphasized the mayor.

The first visit of the day took place at the headquarters of the MP-AM, where the delegation from the Manaus City Hall spoke with the Attorney General of Justice, Alberto Rodrigues do Nascimento Júnior.

Soon after, Mayor David Almeida met with the president of TJ-AM, judge Nélia Caminha Jorge, and judges Joana dos Santos Meirelles, Jomar Ricardo Saunders Fernandes, Luiza Cristina Nascimento da Costa Marques and Cezar Bandeira.

The mayor of Manaus stressed that 2023 will be a year of transformation for the capital of Amazonas due to the numerous works that will take place in different areas of the city.

“We are planning a historic year for the city of Manaus. We have already given the work order for the construction of the Rei Pelé viaduct, over at Bola do Produtor, and Mayor José Fernandes, at Avenida das Torres. In addition, we will have the Gigantes da Floresta park, the Lúcia Almeida viewpoint and the São Vicente Island, the Rosa Almeida viewpoint, at the Encontro das Águas. All this is added to the construction of 16 new Type 4 Basic Health Units, six new Nurseries, renovation of more than 50 schools, delivery of new Cras and Creas. With all these actions, I’m sure that Manaus will take a big leap towards the modernization of its services and the great beneficiary of all this is our population”, he concluded.
