Senators Davi Alcolumbre and Randolfe Rodrigues are working with their peers in the Upper House so that, in the first half of 2023, PEC 7/2018, which deals with transposition, reaches the House Plenary, for voting.
The Constitutional Amendment Proposal extends the time of beneficiaries who can integrate the extinct framework of the federal public administration. Under the current PEC, verification takes place in five years, counting from the date of transformation of territories into states (applies to the states of Amapá and Roraima, from 1988 to 1993).
By PEC 7, the period of verification for some groups of people (who have the status of civil servants or police, civil or military) becomes ten years, counted from the date of transformation of the former territory into a state (until 1998 for Amapá and Roraima; until 1991 for Rondônia).
On the morning of this Saturday, March 25, on the program ‘Togas e Becas’ (Diário FM 90.9), Senator Randolfe Rodrigues informed that he spoke this week with his colleague Davi Alcolumbre so that the two of them articulate together with their peers the vote on the PEC 7 still in this first semester of 2023, in first and second rounds.
Randolfe explained that due to the importance of the matter there must be a guarantee of voting, which is only achieved with a vote in favor of at least 49 of the 81 Brazilian senators.
“I am confident in Senator Davi’s articulation capacity so that PEC 7 will be voted on in plenary, if possible, still in this first semester”, said Randolfe Rodrigues, on the radio program.
The senator also informed that next week the president of the Special Commission of the Former Federal Territories of Rondônia, Amapá and Roraima, João Cândido, will come to Macapá, to clarify everything about the transfer of civil servants to the Union staff.
