A new Datafolha survey evaluating President Lula’s (PT) government will be released from 5pm this Thursday (21). This is the first survey carried out by the institute on federal management, which is now completing 1 year and 3 months in office.

The previous survey, carried out last December, showed Lula with a stable assessment. The PT member ended 2023 with 38% approval from Brazilians, while 30% considered his work to be regular, and the same number, bad or terrible.

In recent weeks, surveys from other institutes have indicated a drop in the president’s evaluation.

Quaest research released earlier this month showed an increase in negative evaluation. According to the survey, management scored a positive rating of 35% and a negative rating of 34%. In the previous survey, in December, 36% had a positive assessment and 29% had a negative assessment. The portion that has a regular opinion about the PT government was 32% and is now 28%.

IPEC research was then released. This also showed a worsening in the government’s approval ratings.

According to the results of the survey, 33% considered the administration to be excellent or good, compared to 38% in the previous survey, last December. Another 33% rated the management as regular, and 32% rated it as bad or terrible, a positive fluctuation of two points in relation to previous data.
