Lawyer says he “goes through unimaginable difficulties, affecting his dignity and that of his family”
The defense of former federal deputy Daniel Silveira (PTB-RJ) launched a campaign asking for donations via Pix to pay Silveira’s ′′ basic family bills ′′ and ′′ return dignity ′′ to the former parliamentarian. Silveira is arrested in Bangu 8 for inciting attacks on ministers of the Federal Supreme Court (STF) and failing to comply with precautionary measures.

“For being illegally imprisoned and with everything blocked, and with nothing, Daniel is going through unimaginable difficulties, completely affecting his dignity and that of his family”
he declared.
In the campaign, Faria claims that the amount raised will serve to “buying food, paying for transportation from Petrópolis to Bangu 8, paying basic bills and family expenses, repairing the washing machine that broke down, or buying a new one, repairing the gate damaged by the Federal Police, and rescuing the minimum of dignity ”.

“Today, Daniel has the help of a few friends, who we can count on the fingers of one hand and still have more”

Silveira was arrested in February of this year, for failing to comply with hundreds of precautionary measures defined by the STF – among them, the use of electronic anklets and the ban on using social networks.
In May, the STF overturned the presidential pardon granted on April 21, 2022 by then-president Jair Bolsonaro (PL) to Silveira. With the conclusion of the trial, the Court’s decision is that the grace is unconstitutional.
In this way, the Bolsonarist began serving his final sentence of 8 years and 9 months.
