Federal deputy Deltan Dallagnol (Podemos-PR) testified to the Federal Police this Monday morning (5) for about an hour and a half. The congressman, who had his candidacy record revoked by the Electoral Justice, answered all the questions asked by the authority about statements given to the press in which he criticized the decision.

The content of the statement was not disclosed due to the secrecy determined by the rapporteur of the case, Minister Alexandre de Moraes, of the Federal Supreme Court (STF). However, Dallagnol’s defense reported that it will request the suspension of this classification “because there is no legal reason for the investigation to proceed in secrecy, since the facts are related to Deltan’s public speeches as a deputy”.

Dallagnol was heard on condition that he had been subpoenaed by the PF and, initially, he did not clarify the conditions under which he would be heard and did not obey the prerogatives of the parliamentarian, who could set a date and time for the testimony.
