Rudi Garcia, coach of Al Nassr, said that Cristiano Ronaldo will return to European football after the end of his 37-year striker contract with the Saudi club.
Cristiano has signed with Al Nassr until the end of June 2025. When the contract ends, he will be 40 years old.
In Europe, the Portuguese star played for Sporting (POR), Manchester United (ING), Real Madrid (Spain) and Juventus (Italy).
“He is one of the best in the world and he will not end his career at Al Nassr, he will return to Europe”, declared the coach, in a press conference.
Last weekend, Rudi Garcia even trumpeted CR7 after his elimination in the Saudi Arabian Super Cup for Romarinho’s team. The French coach publicly criticized the star for a missed goal in the duel.
Cristiano missed a goal opportunity that could have changed the course of the match in the first half, but I congratulate Al-Ittihad. They were better than us until the break”, fired Garcia, in a press conference.
Cristiano Ronaldo was announced by Al Nassr at the end of last year, after the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
He has already played two official matches for the Saudi club, but has yet to score goals in the friendly against PSG, CR7 scored twice.
Al Nassr is the current leader of the Saudi Championship. The CR7 team has 33 points, one away from Al Hilal, in second place.
The team returns to the field next Friday (3), to face Al Fateh.
