Council approves SAF at Paraná Clube; see next steps

O Paraná Club is very close to becoming Sociedade Anônima do Futebol (SAF). On Monday night (4), the Tricolor Deliberative Council approved, by majority vote, the proposal from a group of investors for the club to become SAF.
According to the proposal, the club would receive around R$430 million in investments over up to ten years.
According to the OneTwo Sportsin the last month, a consortium of investors offered 90% of the purchase of the clubwith investments in professional football, restructuring of the youth categories and a new training center.
The proposal had been approved by the Advisory Council last week. With the approval of the Deliberative Council, this Monday, there will now be a General Meeting of Members.
With the approval of the members, the proposal goes to the Bankruptcy and Judicial Recovery Court of Curitiba.
The objective of the group of investors is for the proposal to be approved as soon as possible, so that investments can now be made for the Access Division dispute, which does not yet have a defined start date, but should take place from April 2024. .

According to investors interested in buying Paraná, the objective is to return the team to Series B by 2028, double the market value in five years and make the club a reference in management and financial viability.
