Exclusive line of paints for the bumbá is aimed at artistic works to finalize the allegories presented in the bumbádromo

Manaus (AM) — The vice-president of Boi Caprichoso, Diego Mascarenhas, received this Tuesday, 26th, at the float shed, the representative in the North region of the multinational Sherwin-Williams, David Freitas, new sponsor of the Parintins Festival. The company will create an exclusive line of paints for the bumbá, highlighting the peculiarity and richness of the bluish artistic works.

The meeting marks bumbá’s first official contact with one of the world’s best-known paint manufacturing companies. In 2024, Sherwin-Williams celebrates 80 years in Brazil, 158 years since its founding. She is included in the festival’s support package and has specific projects to work directly with Boi Caprichoso.

According to Diego Mascarenhas, the exclusive line of paints for the bumbá is aimed at artistic works to finalize the allegories presented in the bumbádromo. Tones, luminosity, phosphorescence and other aspects are considered to create the new product that will meet the specific needs of blue artists.

“The representatives were here to learn a little about our reality, our needs, the types of paints we use, the colors, the color palette, in short, all of this so they could make their portfolio available to the ox, including availability to create exclusives”,

said Mascarenhas.

Davi Freitas stated that the company is excited about the partnership and also seeks to gain greater visibility with the brand’s exposure at the largest Festival in northern Brazil.
