In a ceremony on the morning of this Friday, 10, at the Northern Palace, the governor Clecio Luis signed a decree creating the Committee for Adequacy and Qualification of Primary Sector Products for export.
The ceremony was attended, in addition to the governor, by the secretary of foreign trade, Lucas Abrahao; Essio Lanfredi, representative of the Brazilian Promotion and Investment Agency; and deputy Edna Auzier, representing the Alap, between others.
According to the decree, the Committee aims to cooperate and advise companies and entrepreneurs from Amapá in the production of goods and services to increase quantity and quality, aiming at export, following the national and international standards of the markets for which it is proposed.
The Committee, with the acronym Cexport, will be composed of representatives of 20 entities and institutions, including Segov, Foreign Trade Secretariat, Amapá Agency, Alap, Associação Amapaense de Tecnologia, MDA and Sebrae.
The decree signed by the governor establishes that the partner bodies and entities have a period of 30 to indicate, by decree, their representatives – a member and an alternate.
Regular and alternate members will not be remunerated for their participation in the Committee. If necessary, the Committee may expand the participation of other bodies or entities to meet the purpose of the object of the decree.
In an interview before the ceremony, the foreign trade secretary, Lucas Abrahao, said that with the measure, Governor Clécio commits Amapá to investing and improving exports with the objective of developing the state.
