The governor Clécio Luís, in an exclusive interview with Daily Communication Systemon the morning of this Friday, 22nd, revealed that the real adjustment of the electricity tariff scheduled to take effect in Amapá from December 13th is around 13%, but that the Aneel determined 44.41%, including variables, for the state to contribute to the payment of loans made by the sector’s national system.
Clécio gave the interview in relation to the meeting he and Amapá politicians had on Thursday with the minister of mines and energy, Alexandre Silveira, precisely to deal with the high tariff adjustment of 44.41%. According to the government official, the practical result of the meeting will be the drafting of a Provisional Measure (PM) to be presented to the president Lula which, in turn, will forward it for analysis and legislative deliberation.
The governor anticipated that the MP will not limit itself to solving the current problem with the tariff adjustment, but will take structural definitions so that Amapá no longer continues to pay the bill equally to the rest of the country, not only because it is an economically inferior state, but also because it is self-sufficient in electrical energy, including exporting the product to developed regions, such as the South and Southeast.
Clécio Luís acknowledged that the fight is arduous, but that Amapá is united in the fight against what he calls abusive prices in electricity consumption, and that he will now contact, also to join forces, with the governors of the north and northeast of the country.
