Clécio appoints advisors for entities protecting the elderly, children and adolescents, LGBTQIA+ and food security – News of Brazil

Strengthening the policy of representation of social segments in the state, the governor of Amapá, Clécio Luís, signed, this Monday, 27th, decrees that formalize the appointments of advisors to five entities defending the rights of the elderly, children and adolescents, community LGBTQIA+ and in favor of food security.

Members were appointed to the state councils for the Rights of the Elderly (CEDPI); of Children and Adolescents (CEDCA); of the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transvestite and Transsexual Population of Amapá (CELGBT); and also to the Food and Nutrition Security Council (Consea); and to the State Intersectoral Chamber of Food and Nutritional Security of the State of Amapá (Caisan).

Officialization allows new counselors to begin their activities, working on studies and strategies for formulating public policies, actions and programs aimed at the respective segments they represent.

“These appointments signify the importance of society’s participation in the construction and supervision of public policies relating to these areas. As soon as possible, we will schedule an event to reinforce the dialogue with the councils, which must always be maintained”declared governor Clécio Luís.
