This Monday, the 18th, governor Clécio Luís and the president of the Republic, Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, deliver the new thousand homes in the Miracema Housing Complex, in the north of Macapá. The ceremony will also be attended by the ministers of Cities, Jader Filho and of Integration and Regional Development, Waldez Góes, as well as senators Davi Alcolumbre and Randolfe Rodrigues.
Stages 3 and 4, the final phase of Conjunto Miracema, will deliver apartments and houses where more than five thousand people will live. The project relies on resources from the Family Rental Fund (FAR), articulated by senators Davi Alcolumbre and Lucas Barreto, in addition to investments from the State Treasury. The two sources total more than R$200 million.
The Miracema Housing Complex was the only housing project in the country that continued to be managed by the federal government during the period in which the ‘Minha Casa, Minha Vida’ Program was suspended. The Amapá government paid the additional amounts, guaranteeing the construction of all planned housing units.
