Cid’s wife admits to the PF fake vaccine card – 05/19/2023 – Politics

The wife of Lieutenant Colonel Mauro Cid, Gabriela Santiago Cid, admitted in a statement to the Federal Police that she used a false vaccination certificate against Covid-19.

According to Sheet As it turned out, she blamed her husband, the former assistant to former president Jair Bolsonaro (PL), for including false data in the Ministry of Health’s system.

Gabriela is being investigated in the inquiry into whether fraudulent information about the immunization of Bolsonaro, Cid, and four of his family members was entered into the folder’s system.

On Thursday (18), Mauro Cid chose to remain silent during a hearing at the PF. The trip to the headquarters of the corporation was the first time he left jail since May 3, when he was detained by order of Minister Alexandre de Moraes, of the STF (Federal Supreme Court).

In addition to the former representative, the PF is also investigating the inclusion of fraudulent information in the ministry’s system in relation to the Cid couple and their three daughters.

Bolsonaro’s defense claims behind the scenes that the option for silence, on the part of Mauro Cid, was because his lawyers did not have access to the entirety of the content that was extracted from the military cell phone.

On the day that Cid was arrested, the PF carried out a search and seizure operation at Bolsonaro’s house and arrested other advisors to the former president.

The investigation points out that it was inserted into the system as if Bolsonaro had taken two vaccines against Covid-19, the first of them on August 13 and the second on October 14, 2022.

The inclusion of this retroactive vaccination record in the Ministry of Health network, however, only occurred on December 21, shortly before the then president traveled to the United States. The next day, on December 22, Bolsonaro’s vaccination certificate was issued from inside the Planalto Palace.

Days later, on December 27, a certificate was issued again, and then the user, on behalf of the head of vaccination in Duque de Caxias, deleted the record from the system with the justification of “error”.

On behalf of Moraes, the PF appoints Mauro Cid as the main organizer of the scheme.

According to the PF, Bolsonaro was aware of the fraudulent entry of data into the system. “Jair Bolsonaro, Mauro Cid and, possibly, Marcelo Câmara were fully aware of the fraudulent insertion of vaccination data, remaining inert in relation to such facts until the present moment”, says the PF.
