In total, there will be nine new storytelling episodes aimed at children.

Instituto MRV, a non-profit organization belonging to the MRV&CO group, launches the fourth season of the podcast “Lá Vem História”. In total there will be nine new storytelling episodes aimed at children. From April to December, a new story will be presented to the public monthly.

“Lá Vem História” has stories chosen and told by volunteers from the MRV Institute. They are trained by Rúbia Mesquita, a pedagogue and professional storyteller, to produce quality content. Each narration lasts 5 to 10 minutes and is edited to captivate children, stimulating imagination, listening, and transmitting knowledge in a playful way.

“We understand that this is a way of combining technology and literature. The world is increasingly technological and digital and children already have great contact with these tools. We must take advantage of this fact to introduce and encourage literary content. “Lá Vem História” has exactly this function of fostering interest in reading and awakening children’s imagination”, highlighted Blenda Alves, manager of the MRV Institute.

Success story

The podcast was born from the project of the same name, which, during the pandemic, brought together volunteers to tell stories, via video call, to the children of MRV&CO group employees. After recording a lot of success and internal engagement, Instituto MRV decided to expand the idea and offer similar content to the general public, this time in podcast format.

The first seasons of “Lá Vem História”, which total 16 episodes, currently have an average of 161 reproductions and 1,462 impressions per month. In 2022, the podcast reached the top-3 on Apple Music, in the “non-profit” category.
