Manaus (AM) — In celebration of International Women’s Day, this Thursday and Friday (7th and 8th), various social services will be offered free of charge, in the Central-South Zone of Manaus. The event will offer, from 9am to 4pm, a range of services aimed at well-being and female empowerment.

The action is carried out at Millennium Shopping in partnership with the Municipal Secretariat for Women, Social Assistance and Citizenship (Semasc), Amazonas Energia and the Commercial Board of the State of Amazonas (Jucea).

During the action, entrepreneurs who wish to formalize their businesses will be able to receive guidance from Jucea, while a team from the Single Registry for Social Programs (CadÚnico) will be available to assist in registering for Bolsa Família and issuing the Elderly Card, facilitating access to benefits and services for older women.

Semasc will be present to provide guidance and issue a free form for issuing duplicate birth certificates at registry offices. This service is available to those born in Manaus, requiring an official identification document.

Amazonas Energia will provide services such as issuing invoices, changing ownership, paying debts in installments, requesting new connections and information about the Social Tariff. Visitors will also have the opportunity to attend a crafts fair, where 12 women exhibit their creations. The event is held close to Ponto Fast, at the entrance on Djalma Batista Avenue to Millennium Shopping.

Millennium’s Marketing Coordinator, Elizandra Xavier, highlights that through this event, the mall seeks to recognize and value the fundamental role that women play in society.

“It is an opportunity to offer essential services and support to women in different areas of their lives, from formalizing businesses to accessing social benefits. In addition, we will have a crafts fair that highlights the talent and creativity of female entrepreneurs in our region. Our aim was to create a space where women feel recognized and empowered,”

Tributes

In addition to the services offered, the shopping center is paying tribute to dedicated women, people who make a difference in everyone’s lives, through their social networks. These tributes highlight the resilience and dedication of the women who shape Millennium Shopping.

Two women were chosen as representatives of this inspiring moment. Conceição Rodrigues, administrative and financial manager, with 19 years of contribution to Millennium. She shares her views on the role of women in society.

“Women, with their ability to meet various demands, play an important role in the education, foundation and development of human beings”,

highlights.

Another honoree was Fátima Silva. Singer with six years of contribution to Millennium, she expresses her admiration for the inner strength of women. “Women have great inner strength, women have divine strength, I dare say that women are privileged. It is the fundamental point in every way within society”, she says.
