Senator Davi Alcolumbre, president of the Constitution and Justice Commission (CCJ) of the Federal Senate, informed that he has scheduled for June 21 the hearing of Cristiano Zanin, appointed by President Lula to occupy the position of minister in the Federal Supreme Court (STF).
“At a meeting this Monday (12), I decided, alongside the President of the Federal Senate, Rodrigo Pacheco, that I will summon the members of the Constitution, Justice and Citizenship Commission of the Senate to the meeting of the nominee by the President of the Republic, the lawyer Cristiano Zanin, to the Federal Supreme Court-STF, on June 21, Wednesday”he said in a note.
The rapporteur at the CCJ will be the vice-president of the House, Senator Veneziano Vital do Rêgo.
Cristiano Zanin Martins is a Brazilian lawyer and professor. He gained notoriety as a lawyer for President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva in cases related to Operation Lava Jato.
