CBF sees Ancelotti keeping up appearances when talking about staying at Real

The CBF is not surprised by the coach’s recent manifestations Carlo Ancelotti and sees the coach’s positioning as natural when he says he is happy in the Real Madrid.

The president of the CBF, Ednaldo Rodrigues, does not expect Ancelotti to have a different posture from the current one, even considering the entity’s interest in hiring him for the Brazilian national team.

Ednaldo understands Ancelotti’s stance and treats it as normal within the market, considering that he has a contract in force with the Spanish club and the fact that no official contact has been made by the CBF so far with him.

The president of the CBF tells anyone who asks about the topic that a director of one company does not publicly say that he wants to go to another, even if there is interest.

Ednaldo leaves for Europe next week and has not scheduled any meeting with Real Madrid or Ancelotti himself. But the leader maintains the promise that the selection will have a new coach the next time he takes to the field, in June.

Ednaldo says he has been making moves behind the scenes, but says he will not strategically make them public. He, however, does not think this is a task for the current Real Madrid players who are in the national team.

WHAT WILL EDNALDO DO IN EUROPE?

The CBF president will participate in a UEFA meeting, in Lisbon, and then go to London for the Brazil-England match at Wembley: the dispute is for the Finalissima, bringing together the champions of the Euro and Copa America.

Carlo Ancelotti is the only coach the CBF has publicly admitted to keeping an eye on. The Italian has a contract with Real Madrid until the end of June 2024.

The CBF wants a strong name for the selection, without having to pay a termination fee for it.

Ednaldo Rodrigues has already said that he will talk to the president of the club where the coach is before hiring him. Therefore, a prior seam is expected with Florentino Pérez, Real Madrid’s agent.
