CBF defines the 40 clashes of the first phase of the Copa do Brasil

Twelve clubs already have a guaranteed place and enter the third phase
The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) held a draw this Wednesday (8) to define the 40 clashes in the first phase of the Copa do Brasil. With information from THROW!
The games will take place on February 22 (Ash Wednesday) and March 1 and will be played in a single match. The home team belong to the teams that are in the worst positions in the National Club Ranking (RNC). The visitors, on the other hand, have the advantage of a draw to qualify.
It is worth remembering that 12 clubs already have a guaranteed place and enter the third phase. They are: Flamengo, Palmeiras, Corinthians, Fluminense, Atlético-MG, Athletico, Fortaleza, Internacional, Cruzeiro, Paysandu, Sport and São Paulo). A new draw will be made by the CBF for the later phases.
